He angitūtanga | The opportunity

The Systems Engineers provide assistance to the IT Helpdesk for issues and escalations, provide expert support of IT systems and end-point device technologies, and lead implementations in line with the wider IT Infrastructure and Operations team objectives. The role will strive to improve service to MAS business users by resolving issues, proactively maintaining systems, and improving technology and processes.

He kōrero mōu | Key attributes we are looking for:

  • High level of computer literacy
  • Experience working in a change-controlled environment
  • Experience supporting Endpoint, Server and Network hardware
  • Microsoft Server technologies
  • Microsoft Windows endpoint device technologies
  • Experience with local and wide area network concepts and principles
  • Experience with server virtualisation technologies
  • Experience administering Microsoft O365 technologies
  • Experience administering Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, or Saas solutions
  • NCEA Level 3 or equivalent attainment of industry related qualifications or certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator)
  • Minimum 4 years' experience supporting IT systems in an enterprise environment
