We’re an insurance and retirement savings company for Kiwi professionals, and while we’re small, we’re growing fast. As part of our growth, we are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and pro-active front-line, phone-based customer service people to provide outrageously good customer service to our Members.

The role

You’ll take inbound calls and emails from our members, answering queries about our products and services, providing quotes and approving new products and services. This is not your standard support centre role as you will also be making underwriting decisions in line with set delegations.

MAS is a flexible employer and we appreciate that you will have a number of priorities in your life, whether you are studying or raising a family, we will support lifestyle flexibility however we can. Currently we are working between the hours of 8am - 5.30pm.

Our main contact centre is based in Wellington, however we are keen to hear from people across New Zealand. We offer MAS whānau the ability to change your base office location if you prefer to work from one of our regional offices, or work from home. If you are interested in working from home, of course, you'll be set up with everything you need to do so.

What you’ll need

You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, the right attitude, a passion for customer service and the ability to be flexible. The ability to engage and listen to our member requirements is key, so previous experience within customer services is essential. We’d also be very keen to hear from you if you’ve also worked within a complex call centre environment. Notwithstanding our 100 year history, you’ll be the secret to our ongoing success by being a part of our highly valued outstanding customer service. 

In order to be considered for this role, you must have high speed fibre.
