We have an exciting opportunity for a Hawkes Bay-based MAS Adviser to grow the MAS brand in the wider ‘Bay region.

The successful candidate will be a consummate professional with the drive and willingness to go the extra mile for MAS Members and new prospects alike. While part of the Central Region team, with supportive colleagues, they will need to be very comfortable working autonomously and almost entirely remotely. As the face of MAS in the area, they will be required to be flexible to occasionally work out of normal business hours. 

MAS originated in Napier, and as we approach our centennial celebrations in 2021 it would be great to have someone on the ground in the ‘Bay with a passion to help our Members protect what matters with personal protection plans and responsible retirement options, and to be a great ambassador flying the MAS flag and helping us grow.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Meeting with prospective and current Members to discuss their financial needs and provide suitable recommendations;
  • Developing strategies to gain new membership; and
  • Attending networking functions and MAS Member events. 

Our ideal candidate will have been in a similar role for the last five years or more within the insurance and/or finance industry and hold a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) or similar.
