He angitūtanga | The opportunity

We are looking for a true senior with the ability to support our Compliance Manager to plan and respond to items on the regulatory horizon. As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will also be responsible for monitoring internal controls to ensure adherence to MAS policies, procedures and regulatory obligations. The Senior Compliance Analyst also contributes to the identification of education and training opportunities for MAS employees. 

Ideally our successful applicant will be based in Wellington. However, for the right applicant we are happy for the role to be based anywhere in NZ.

  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work with competing priorities.
  • A collaborator with strong relationship management skills.
  • Five years' experience in regulatory compliance, ideally in financial services.
  • The ability to influence at executive level.
  • Basic working knowledge of project management practices and processes.
  • Strong numerical and analysis skills.
  • A focus on continuous improvement and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.
