We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Financial Adviser to establish and grow the MAS brand within the majestic Nelson region. 

The successful candidate will be a conscientious professional in their field with the drive and willingness to go the extra mile. They are comfortable working autonomously and have a true passion to help our Members protect what matters. They want to assist our Members by offering high-quality financial advice, detailed personal protection plans and responsible retirement options. 

We would expect the applicant to be in a similar role currently with at least five years' experience and hold a minimum of the National Certificate in Financial Planning.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Meeting with prospective and current Members to discuss their financial needs and provide suitable recommendations;
  • Developing strategies to gain new membership; and
  • Attending networking functions and MAS Member events. 

We need somebody to be the face of MAS therefore the role will be mobile and will require flexibility to work out of normal business hours.
