An evening with David Yarrow
From Tuesday 22 May to Saturday 26 May, MAS Members will hear and experience first-hand, the stories and insights of world-renowned photographer, wildlife conservationist and inspiring philanthropist, David Yarrow.
David's story is an interesting and varied one. From highly successful businessman to being one of the best-selling fine art photographers in the world, documenting and making a significant impact on global conservation and creating iconic images of the world's vanishing animals and cultures.
MAS is committed to putting health, wellbeing and sustainability at the heart of everything we do, and David’s work highlights the accountability we all have to take care of our planet.
David has generously donated one of his prints, Colossus, to be auctioned while he is here in New Zealand. David's last three prints sold at auction with Sotheby's raised $110,000, $100,000 and $70,000 USD.
The proceeds will be donated to David's charity of choice, WildArk, whose mission is to preserve our wild places.
The charity auction will take place at our final event in Auckland on Saturday 26 May. If you're not attending this event and would like to take part in the auction, you can bid by phone on the night or submit an absentee bid.
You can find out more and pre-register your interest for the auction at Webbs.co.nz.
