MAS (Medical Assurance Society) has been named the official Principal Partner of Art in the Park in a new two-year partnership that reflects a commitment to the arts, wellbeing, community and helping people thrive.

Owned by Eden Park, Art in the Park is New Zealand’s premier art show, transforming our national stadium into the country’s most unexpected art galleries. This year, the show will take place 1 – 4 October.

The partnership between Art in the Park and MAS recognises the important role art plays in enriching our lives, creating connection, and inspiring wellbeing. It also reflects MAS’s commitment to protecting what matters and helping grow the financial future of its Members.

As Principal Partner, MAS will support the continued growth of New Zealand’s premier art show and help strengthen its connection with audiences, artists and communities. The partnership is grounded in a shared set of values and a collective ambition to create experiences that are meaningful, accessible and enduring.

Art in the Park Nick Sautner, Eden Park CEO says the partnership helps strengthen Art in the Park’s role as a unique cultural experience.

“Art in the Park has been created to give people a different way to experience both art and Eden Park. Each year it grows bigger and bolder and more immersive, and it is a privilege to provide a platform for Kiwi artists to showcase their work while giving the public the opportunity to engage with art in such a unique setting.

“We are proud to partner with MAS to deliver this year’s show. MAS is an organisation that recognises the positive role events like this play in bringing people together and supporting wellbeing.”

MAS Chief Marketing and Distribution Officer, Matt Harvey, says the partnership aligns strongly with MAS’ purpose and vision.

“We want to support Art in the Park in a way that reflects genuine commitment, not just visibility. This partnership gives us the opportunity to be part of an event that celebrates creativity, fosters connection and highlights the important role art plays in personal and community wellbeing. It aligns strongly with our vision of supporting the financial health and wellbeing of our Members and the wider community.”

Now in its sixth year, Art in the Park continues to put New Zealand art and culture up on a world stage while showcasing Eden Park’s role as a community asset for Auckland and a strategic asset for New Zealand.

The two-year partnership will see MAS featured as Principal Partner of Art in the Park across event branding, marketing and audience engagement, reinforcing a shared commitment to supporting creativity, connection and community wellbeing.
