MAS celebrates Kiwi organisations making a social impact

MAS is proud to be sponsoring the Social Impactor Category at the Sustainable Business Awards in 2020. 

The award will be presented to an organisation that is consistently improving people's lives through its day-to-day business practices, and the finalists are:

Mike Davy, MAS Chief Advocacy Officer, said MAS was sponsoring the category because of the company's belief in the importance of sustainable and impactful business practices. 

"Like insurance, sustainability is all about long-term thinking. What can we do in the here and now that will help us all live better lives well into the future?

"Businesses have a huge part to play in achieving a more sustainable future thanks to the resources they can bring to bear on the problem – their people, their investments, their procurement and supply chains, their practices. 

"As a mutual, we know what can be achieved when we work for the good of our communities, and we want to support like-minded businesses who are making a similar impact in their own industries."

The Sustainable Business Awards will be presented at a ceremony in November.
