On 23 June 2021 some changes we've made to the MAS KiwiSaver Scheme and the MAS Retirement Savings Scheme (the ‘Schemes’) became effective. We have opened up eligibility to join our Schemes to all New Zealanders who meet the broader Government eligibility requirements. Medical Funds Management Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of MAS has replaced the previous Trustees as the Manager of the Scheme. We have also appointed Public Trust as Supervisor of the Schemes.

In relation to these changes to the Schemes, at the same time, we have also made some changes to our Privacy Statement. These changes describe what information we collect from you; how we collect it; what we use it for and circumstances in which we might need to disclose your information when it comes to your investments. For example, we may need to disclose your information to Public Trust and/or Link Market Services in their roles as supervisor and administrator of the Schemes.
