We’re phasing out cheques
With most New Zealand banks phasing out cheques in the coming months, MAS will no longer accept cheques after 31 May.
We now receive very few cheques as most Members have now switched to electronic forms of payment. We apologise for the inconvenience this decision may cause some of our Members, and we will help you shift to using a different form of payment.
In future, the simplest way to make a payment is by online banking or direct debit.
Paying by direct debit
You can select whether you want this payment to go out annually, six-monthly, quarterly or monthly.
Six-monthly payments include a 3% payment administration fee, while quarterly and monthly payments include a 6% fee.
Paying using online banking
You can pay your annual premium online and there is no administration fee.
Our account number is 06-0541-0079700-00. Please also quote the reference number that will be printed at the bottom of your invoice.
Paying by credit card
You can pay your premiums by credit card by calling us on 0800 800 627. There is a 1.75% surcharge on all credit card payments.

24 February 2021 - More than 13,000 people participated in this year's Brendon Foot Supersite Round the Bays, 5,827 of those in the 6.5km Fun Run/Walk, which MAS sponsored for the first time. Among those were a huge number of MAS staff and Members.
