Most vehicles insured with MAS Comprehensive cover are eligible, including standard cars, SUVs, 4WDs, motorcycles (road use), light vans, trailers, and caravans. Some vehicle types and situations are excluded. View our terms and conditions to learn more.

Do I still need my AA membership?

If your vehicle is insured with MAS on a Comprehensive policy, that vehicle already has roadside assistance through AA.

  • Cover starts from 1 April 2026. There’s no need to wait for your policy renewal
  • It lasts for the same term as your MAS policy
  • Because the cover is vehicle‑based, any licensed driver can use the service if that insured vehicle breaks down, as long as the driver is permitted to drive your vehicle as per your policy schedule, then they can get help through MAS Roadside Assistance.

This is different from an AA Membership, which covers the person, not the vehicle.

There’s no excess for standard roadside assistance. Some non‑standard services may have a cost that the driver needs to pay.
