By entering the Shape The Conversation prize draw (the Prize Draw), you agree to the following terms and conditions: 

  1. The promoter of the Prize Draw is Medical Assurance Society New Zealand Limited (MAS), PO Box 957, Wellington 6140. The prize draw is open from 9 February 2026 and closes on 10 March 2026.

  2. The Prize Draw is open to persons who:
    1. are studying for a degree at the University of Auckland or the University of Otago in 2026
    2. have subscribed to Join The Conversation email series
    3. have completed the survey about what they want from The Conversation email series

  3. Each entry is limited to one per person.

  4. The winner will be drawn on 11 March 2026 by a MAS representative. The winner will be a randomly selected person who meets the Prize Draw criteria.

  5. The winner will receive a $250 Prezzee card and will be notified either by email or phone as provided in the Prize Draw form.

  6. If the winner does not claim the Prize in 5 days, the Prize will be redrawn in accordance with these terms.

  7. The Prize is not transferable. MAS may cancel the Prize Draw or exchange the Prize for a similar prize of equivalent value without notice at any time. The Prize cannot be exchanged for other goods. MAS's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  8. Employees of MAS and its related companies (and their immediate families) are not eligible to enter this Prize Draw.

  9. By entering the Prize Draw you agree that MAS may use your name and photograph for publicity purposes.

  10. MAS does not accept responsibility or liability whatsoever to the winner beyond these terms and conditions.

  11. Variation: MAS reserves the right to vary any of these terms and conditions at any time without providing notice.
