You can choose to make a lump sum or regular investment into your MAS Investment Funds account through online banking or by direct debit.
If you open a new account with us the minimum investment is $500. There is no minimum amount for additional investments.
Investment monies we receive are generally processed within 5 business days.
It’s easy to make one-off or regular payments to your investment account through online banking using saved or registered payee details in your bank's app. When you make a lump sum investment you can choose which fund(s) you would like to invest in.
MAS has set up as a payee/biller with the following banks:
Simply search for the product name - MAS Investment Funds - which is also the account name, in the biller or payee list and follow the prompts to complete your payment.
Important
MAS banks with ANZ and all our biller code instructions are set-up with New Zealand banks via ANZ. Banks operate using different systems and processes, and while the biller names (product name or account name) are the same across all banks, the manual entry process can be different.
You can also enter the payment details manually using the following information:
Please double-check all details before confirming payment.
For ASB and BNZ banks specifically, as well as for any banks that do not list our Scheme's bank account under their registered payees or businesses, you need to manually enter the exact account name as registered with the bank to avoid a "Not Match" error during the Confirmation of Payee process. ASB and BNZ’s Confirmation of Payee service will verify whether the account name and number provided correspond with the bank’s official records. Therefore, please ensure you use the exact name on accounts (as per the table above) to successfully complete the Confirmation of Payee check.

If you do not provide a fund code for your contribution to be allocated to, your contribution will be invested in accordance with your future investment strategy.
You will need to use the fund codes provided if you are making an additional investment into your MAS Investment Funds account using online banking.
If you would like to invest in more than one fund, you will need to invest in each fund with a separate payment.
You can also choose to set up (or change) a regular investment direct debit payment weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly.
To start a direct debit you need to complete the Direct Debit Authority Form.
You can change or cancel your regular direct debit payments by completing a Direct Debit Change Form.
You have the flexibility to switch between fund(s) and set how you would like your contributions automatically invested at any time. There is no minimum amount required and currently no additional fees.
It's easy to make a change. Investors with individual and joint accounts can switch funds and make a change to how their contributions are invested (called the future investment strategy) in the MAS Investor Portal.
Other investors will need to complete a Switch and Future Investment Strategy Change Form.
